Alhamdulillah! Finally managed to visit the Obor Ummah Exhibition at the National Library yesterday, on its second last day (':
Initially, I was a bit taken back by its small scale exhibition (was expecting something slightly bigger? heh).
But once I started reading & reflecting a bit upon each and every inspirational story... Tears incessantly welled up in my eyes. Subhanallah...
Was really inspired by the way they filled up their time; learning, teaching, writing articles, khutbah & books... And some of them even had jobs outside the teaching field. Yet they were still able to contribute vastly to the Ummah! Allah Allah...
Then I had the opportunity to read some of the biographies portrayed in the second volume of Obor Ummah. There were some faces that brought tears to my eyes just my looking at their faces! Amongst them was almarhum Ustaz Feer. I've never known him nor met him in person. The first time I heard his name was last year during a school retreat, where some asatizah n shared about their experience with him. I just admired him... And he had this very humble, down-to-earth look (':
Kadang, terkilan juga tak sempat nak berkenalan dengan mrk -rahimahumullah-
Almarhum Ustz Ahmad Sonhadji, Ust Syed Abdullah Aljufri... Qaddarallah (':
Then I read the biography of almarhum Mudir -Ust Md Noor Taib. Ya Allah! His enthusiasm and sincerity, despite challenges faced were truly inspiring. Needless to say, I was deeeeeply moved..

Now Khadijah, to be inspired is one thing.
But most importantly, are you ready enough to get a firm+tight grip on yourself to walk their paths?? To optimise your you-think-your-schedule-is-so-packed-but-actually-it-can-still-be-improved days??
:'(((((
*takuuut nak jawab >.<*
