Another IOK module (for the Post-Graduate Diploma in Islamic Thoughts and Civilisation with ISTAC of IIUM) started last Friday.
Contemporary Muslim World.
Interesting.
Very strict lecturer (:D),
Not a second of sleepiness felt throughout both 3-hour lectures (yest & today).
I've discovered many new yet very important facts since this IOK programme has started.
This module & the previous one (on Comparative Civilisations) especially, made me so keen and triggered to know and discover more of the history.
Just that I'm no longer a full-time student.
Meaning that on top of all these assignments (to date, we have 4 assignments to be submitted by end of the month), I have to prepare for my lessons in school, test papers, exercises, do markings, and prepare for The Observation that's coming up soon.
Or perhaps I'm just giving myself excuses!
Read Khadijah, READ!
History of Jordan - Pan-Islamisation - Geo-Politics - 1492....
By the way, my group's theme is the Arab Uprisings (I just knew that this differs from 'Arab Spring'. The former includes Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Libya and Syria while the latter is only for Egypt).
And we have only 15 mins to present. Once exceeded, the lecturer will start deducting marks....
*inhale deeeeply.... And exhaleeeee...*
On a more relaxed note (haaa), we managed to have a Perjumpaan Raya cum solat hajat & qasidah get-together of Akhawat Dmasyq yesterday evening (19 Syawal 1435H) at Joo Chiat lvl 4! ^^
the kids (9 of them!) really 'pumped up' the atmosphere. LOL.
*hügs all*
