Alhamdulillah, the third year final exam just came to an end today.
Alhamdulillah, with Allah SWT's Guidance, n the Strength that He Gave, I managed to survive those papers, some of which were fine, while others were more challenging and tricky. I enjoyed doing Balaghah ('ilm al-Badi' -LOVE it!) and Usul Takhrij al-Ahadith (another favourite subject of mine) the most -because we were really required to apply what we've learnt and understood to solve the questions, unlike the usual n direct "memorise-n-then-reproduce-those-facts-in-written-form" questions.
Meanwhile, on 23rd June 2010, my lovely Mardhiyah Md. Yusoff had to leave all of us to return to Singapore, mainly to get ready for her upcoming walimah on July 10th. Subhanallah! how fast time flies~ One moment we were boarding the same flight, together preparing ourselves to face a new chapter of our lives in Syam, and the next moment: she's already getting married!
Alf mubaarak ya habibati al-ghaliyah :)
I'm happy for the both of you (that Hasyim is super lucky!), but at the same time can't help feeling sad to be separated from u after going through so many ups n downs together.
Those wonderful times at Halbuniy -browsing through rows and stacks of books for hours, discovering valuable old books (kutub turath), discussing about the different authors, n not forgetting the unexpected n surprise visit by Syeikh Abul Huda al-Ya'qubi to our favourite bookshop during our final Halbuniy Date (2nd June 2010), thus getting to see one of our most favourite masyaikh at such a close range! hehe.
The moments we shared at jami' Abu Nour level 4 n 5, on the way back from durus at jami' al-Iman n jami' al-Hajibiah, DMASYQ meetings, and even at the "void deck" of Hannan -trying to discuss as much as we can within those limited amount of time, before u had to leave for your own house. People wonder how we were able to talk and discuss things at such a high speed! lol.
n they wonder about our endless conversations, bcos we always seem to have thousands of issues to talk about. Asal kitorang jumpe je, MESTI ada yang nak dikongsi. Alhamdulillah, i've benefited alot from ur company and valuable sharings. jazakillah kulla khair.
It's interesting how we could become so close, when we didn't even know each other very well when we first came to Syria. Even when we stayed under the same roof at the Old Hannan, we weren't that close, were we? Perhaps it was the Exco thingy that required us to work very closely together to make ends meet for DMASYQ since April 2009 that gradually strengthened this ukhuwwah, despite our different personalities. You, always being the soft and lenient one; n me, the firm, garang, and "berangin" one. hehehe.
Can't wait to see you again! -be it in Syam or Singapore.
Nak peluk awak erat-erat... :'(
....
on another note, alf Mubaarak to bro Adi n sis Rufihaza for their upcoming walimah on July 4th! wah! dalam diam eh korang~ hehehe (;
