The mid year term tests are finally here! :D
just completed Figh paper. wasn't easy (Mu'amalat uh),
but alhamdulillah, i believe i've answered it as best as i could.
in case u're wondering why i sound so happy,
then it's because, the sooner it starts, the sooner it'll end.
common sense lah kan. hee~
n also bcos that means, soon, i'll be able to resume doing certain activities
that i had to put aside in order to prioritise my tests. weE~

Memoirs of 2009...
… in pictures (finally!) ;)
Our current Hannan. This picture was taken during 'Eid (pasal nak menang Sweetest Home contest nye pasal. lol). Now -minus the deco-, it's back to the simple, plain one... but still sweet. alhamdulillah ;)
Dishes prepared by my group during a cooking competition held few weeks back (only for akhawat. Syabab nanti kalau nak buat, bolehlah panggil kte untuk jadi judge! hehehe). Although each group was given only 200 lira (S$6.60) to spend on the ingredients, somehow miraculously we managed to buy LOADS of stuffs:
The dishes prepared by the 3 groups (each group consisting of 5-6 members). All in all, it was indeed a memorable n yummy event. I loike~ (sorry uh gambar tak berapa terang)
Kambing Korban! 6-7 sisters gotong-royong, tungkus-lumus demi untuk siang ini kambing (ni cuma sebahagian darinya je eh) yg maha berlemak dan liat, dengan pisau2 yang sikit punya tak tajam …. Apapun, alhamdulillah. Mission accomplished! Akhawat Boleh!!! :D

Indoor Water Fountain! -_-“ instead of rushing to take pails to collect the water leaking from above, we were so excited not to miss the chance to record this incident. Kecoh habes~ lol.
this is how my halaqah al-bahth papers look like for Tafsir. we can choose either to type it or write it by hand. obviously i chose the latter bcoz it's easier and faster! heh.
This is Cham Centre (read as “Syam Centre”), one of the few shopping malls in Syria. Ever since I stepped in Syria more than 2 years ago, I’ve only been here twice. Tak kuasa~ nothing much la (to me), just like most typical shopping malls in Singapore. Cuma “grand” and mahal nye je lebih~ oh! the musolla is nice btw :D
ketika "bertapa" di luar Jami' Umawi... tak sangka dapat ilham dan semangat untuk buat halaqah al-bahth di sini. subhanallah. i love this moment... the ambience... 
The bouquet 2nd bro n family gave me at the airport last summer. suker bunga ni, tapi lagi suka pemberinya! ^-^ *huGs big bro*
...and these are 2 of my youngest nieces. Cik Ija sayang n rindu Syaakirah (on the left) & Huda sangat2...

Beside the yellow pillow are my brown khuffs which come in handy during winter times like this, to keep the feet warm. On the walls are varieties of motivational posters, inspirational stories (mainly those on Rasulullah ‘alaihis solatu wassalam and Sayyidah Khadijah Bint Khuwailid. Suker sgt sgt sgt sgtS~), and loads of reminders for the self. Not forgetting my bi-monthly planner, school time-table, and goals (semoga menjadi kenyataan ya Rabb. Ameen! =)) oh. N there’s the world map –in Arabic =)
my table is just beside my mattress, with piles of books n notes waiting to be read (tapi TAK terbaca2 jugak! :S. exam is just around the corner Khadijah!!).

Mayonnaise – tuna - eggs – potatoes - green and red chillies - sweet potatoes – apples – muffins -biscuits- milk -popcorn- flour -chickpeas.
We were judged on the taste, creativity, and teamwork. My group lost by a mere 1 point to the 1st group >_<". anyway, the recipes that we’ve tried proved to be delicious! Betul, tak bedek! =D
siap namakan setiap hidangan lagi. Jiwang pulak tu! Lol. Clockwise from the right: “Sarang Asmara”, “Qasiyun…Saksi Cinta Kita”, our desert: “Caramella Le Bananne” (HAHA), and “Bahtera Kasih”. Kekek uh.
Mana sibuk nak masak, (the part I loved the most was during the caramel-making experiment. Menjadi beb~ Alhamdulillah. Suker caramel!!!!!!), nak hias, nak fikir nama group (I won’t tell u, coz it’s merepek. I was just joking. Never did I expect the rest to agree upon it -_-“) , nak siapkan pantun lagi to “accompany” the dishes. Ish. Btw, “Qasiyun” is a very famous mountain here in Damascus.

Some Syrian dishes prepared by my Arab friend when I paid her a visit last year. the green dish on the left is called "tabbouleh", a very popular Syrian salad. very nice + healthy!

the canteen at Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah. this picture was taken when i went there to visit my asatizah during summer vacation last July. It was recess time.
