Istiqamah
26 Ramadhan 1429H

just attended a morning dars just now.
Syeikh reminded us to continue our deeds after Ramadhan:

(kun rabbaniyyan wa laa takun ramadhaniyyan)

which more or less means:
Be someone who worship Allah at all times, and not only during Ramadhan.

so, to myself especially, n to all of u, keep up the spirit ! :D

Haya'

Kesimpulannya, berfikirlah sebelum bertindak,

Kebetulan baru kelmarin saya membaca artikel mengenai haya’ (malu).

Reflections...
taken from DMASYQ's blog:

Alhamdullilah, Alhamdulillah.
All praises be to Allah for giving us this opportunity
to welcome the blessed month of Ramadhan again.
The time for contemplation has come once again brothers and sisters.
We know how we have performed as a Muslims for the past 12 months
and we know how badly we need this blessed month.

Somehow or other, we have neglected our duties as a Muslim.
Our nafs have been overfed this past 12 months.
We have laughed too much.
We have eaten and drank too much.
We have done things that we should not have done.
We have said things that we should not have said.
Our eyes have been seeing things that we should not see.
The animalistic instinct in us called the nafs have gone wild.
And our worship towards the Almighty has been very minimum.

We have drowned ourselves in the dunya.
We have not worship Allah as much as he deserves to be worshipped.
We have not remembered Allah as much as he deserves to be remembered.
We have not thanked Allah as much as he deserves to be thanked.

The time has come for us to go into isolation.
The time has come for us to treat our ever weakening Imaan,
Our hearts have been polluted with the love of the dunya.
It is time for us to put the dunya behind us.

This is the month of worship.
This the month where we give total submission to Allah.
Let sleep be minimum this month
Let us fill this month with the Qur’an.
Let us fill this month with the tears of repentance and regret for our sins.

Believe in Yourself!
Ramadhan is almost entering its second week. Alhamdulillah, all of here are surviving despite the summer heat. Berpeluh2~ takpe Khadijah, tahan. Baru panas dunia je kan :)

My anisah once shared during a Riyadhus Salihiin class:

Allah does not try us with things that are beyond our capabilities, BUT Allah tries us with things that are difficult for us.

Difficult, challenging things, but not impossible.

So my advice for myself and others:

Do not easily give up when faced with a challenge. Believe in ourselves! In the power that we have! In the capabilities that Allah has granted us. Because each and everyone of us is here for a purpose.

“Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose),
and that you would not be brought back to Us?”
[Al-Mukminuun: 115]

Allah might not give us what we want.
He says Wait!
and gives us the Best in His own time.
Have faith in HIM :)
