Sports-yo!
Yesterday, we had the 1st part of IMG (Inter-Madrasah Games) -the ALL-GIRLS Final!
it was a wet morning.
the smell of rain.
running & cheering in the rain for the participants (coz I was one of the officials and was stationed at the field!)
telematch for the teachers...
students cheering oh-so-loudly for us.

it was such a nice, loud event! ^^

been a loooong while since I had an all-girls SPORTS event. kind of a destress session.

dpt lariiii... dpt pekik... dpt main2...
dpt tepuk tgn kuat2 (sampai satu jariku lebam)...

the not-so-little boys around me (:
10 Jumadal Ukhra 1435H

The day I started coaching Vito Raihan, a P5 student from Al-Irsyad.

I was both excited and enthusiastic to guide him in his journey to explore the Beauty of Arabic Language, bi'auniLLAH!

We connected fast! Alhamdulillah... on top of simply language, I tried to share inputs on tazkiyah an-nafs or Tauhid or even Fiqh (which, unfortunately, was 'combined' or 'integrated' into one, thus the students can't really distinguish what is Fiqh really about, for example. hmmmmm).

anw, he was telling me that he wants ti go to al-Arabiyyah in sec 1 bcoz 'Arabic is difficult'. i made a shocked face n asked him some questions, then he adjusted a bit: "Sirah & Hadith (which are taught in Arabic, unlike Aqidah-Fiqh-Akhlaq which are in English) are difficult!".

then I shared with him that the key is to like that subject. when we begin to understand it, we'll grow to like it.
when we like it, we'll give our best in it!

"Arabic Language isn't difficult! yes, it is challenging because it's very diferent from Malay and English.
but it's not difficult. and I'll prove it to you insyaAllah!"

-Khadijah, after Raihan said that just this morning in class, an ustazah mentioned that 'Nahu, ... ... are a bit difficult".

kte mcm pantang gitu org ckp Lughah Ahlil Jannah ni susah. huhu...
*it's all in the mindset!*

Di mana ada kemahuan, di situ ada Jalan! ^^,

Speaking of which, was reminded of my sec 2A (all-boys class).

When I chose a group to present their project today (which was to be prepared on mahjong paper), they were quiet for awhile. then a representative told me: "actually Ustazah... erm, one of us accidentally left it on the bus this morning..".
i was like: HAH? Mahjong ppr yg besar mcm tu blh tertinggal dlm bas? -______-"

but i trusted their reason. coz it's sec 2A. and i've known them for more than a year now..
Pelik Tapi Benar.
ni, dgn 2C boys. they're out-of-the-world kind of species.

nak marah, tapi tak boleh tahan nak tersenyum...

sec 1A is a bit different. the youngest of my boys, but seemingly the most 'segan-segan' dgn ustazah (tapi nak perhatian jugak sebenarnya). i'm always looking forward to meeting them (':

semuanya lah ana sayang <3

Allah yahmiikum daaiman!

Slow.
5 Jumaadal Uula 1435H

Another rest day for me.

I begin to appreciate days off work since last year I think (in 2012 though, I remember myself feeling a bit sad when Friday is ending, coz it means having to pause from teaching for 2 whole days...).

I still enjoy teaching and meeting the students, alhamdulillah. perhaps the subject factor and the fact that I've more things to juggle...
maybe that's why i'm beginning to appreciate simply staying at home.

just that i've to fill these seemingly 'off-days' with work, too! coz when u're having too much free time Khadijah (read: sleep for longer hours, reading newsfeed at FB, ...), that means there's smtg wrong somewhere with ur time management.
hmm.

Also, i notice that i've to talk less (outside the classrooms of course).

i might not be talking bad about others, but i'm not saying anything beneficial either. so altho it might not be haraam (yet), it is still considered lagha (sia-sia).

astaghfirullah...
:((

Cakap Hanya Bila Perlu.

Been trying to slowly get into the momentum of Reading.

Picked up a Solusi. read a few articles. great, meaningful, beautifully-written articles. yet wasn't able to push myself to read longer than 45 mins I think.

see? it's moving, but at a snail speed.

and now, I'm changing to another book that I bought in Ampel last month:
"Kisah Wali Songo" (:
... coz I'm really intrigued to get to know them -rahimahumuLLAH-.

reached page 32, and thought that I need to rest my mind & eyes...
and so I shifted to my khad-safiy.

haaaaa....!

meanwhile, The Poster is Out!

Yaa Tariim wa Ahlaha!
