actually there's alot more interesting points to share, but i guess i shall stop here. takut nnt parents complain to me anak2 dorang dah sebOk nak kawin lepas bace gue punye blog. =P
ok dah. cukup. bukan main lagi budak2 ni bebual pasal nikah eh? kerja pun belum dapat lagi....
hah! speaking of which, i earnestly seek ur kindness (my intan payung~) to remember me in ur du'as k? du'akanlah Khadijah cepat dapat kerja yang sesuai. a.s.a.p. can't afford to waste any more time. the other day i received a request to apply for an Arabic Speaking Customer Service Officer. went for the interview (turned out that it's only 20% Arabic), n the lady commented that my voice is a bit too soft. yek eleh. pelan pun salah. kasar sgt pun salah. shift jobs pulak tu. nah. anw, don't think i'm suited for such jobs. nak kene cakaaaaaaap byk2. kesian nnt mulut ni penat.
......
lawaaaa nah kan??! (angguk laa kalau iye pOn ;p)
ni baru betul punyer "Love at First Sight". thanks to Maryam Osman who first noticed the book (@ Muslimedia.com), and my Nad for holding the book for me. the funny thing is, the contents are in Bahasa Indonesia. koq gitu deh? misleading habes~ ;p
btw, no. i didn't buy the book. already have lotsa books on my idol (yup yup, me adore her alot, after Rasulullah sollallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. can't thank my family enough for naming me after her. berkat insyaAllah ye ayah? ;))
instead, i bought The Ideal Muslim by Muhammad Ali al-Hashimi (actually wanted to buy The Ideal Muslimah, but unfortunately, it was sold out. ceh. takpe~ next time insyaAllah k Khadijah? :)), Don't Be Sad by 'Aaidh ibn Abdullah al-Qarni, n some books for my nephews n nieces.
the children books are soooo nicely illustrated n written, i couldn't resist buying them. one is a basic du'a book, with all the dzikr that can be easily practised by children, and another (Diyanah also love this book) is an A to Z of Akhlaaq: Moral Values for Children. instead of the usual "A is for Apple", here, every alphabet is related to the deen. such as "K is for Keeping A Promise, it's not an easy task. However, it has to be fulfilled, before ever being asked."
then below there's a picture of a little girl in hijab running in the rain with a present in hand, to attend her friend's 'Eid Party, bcoz she has promised so. next is a picture of her friend looking sooo glad when she arrived.
comel sgt laa~ P is for Patience, Q is for Qur'aan, R is for Respect, S is for Salaam..... iloveiloveiloveit!!
few days back i finished wrapping all the books. weE~ hope they'll last till my own children cum my little Mujahids n Mujahidahs (ameen!) are able to read. *smiles*
p.s. i came across this video @ YouTube. perhaps an alternative in introducing the Arabic alphabets to our children? ;) my sister used to sing it when i was small, so more or less the rythm of the song is engraved on my mind~
