~1st entry after she turned 21~
13 Safar 1429H
it feels great to be blogging again. despite the tight schedule (haa. mcm superstar maner ntah. heh).
1stly, baarakallahu feekum for all the birthday wishes thru my khad-safiy/friendster/email/e-cards (kak Saq, that card was hilarious. lol)
2ndly, a bundle of thanks to Remy Mahzam for this new blogskin. my 1st online birthday present. thanks for the edits! :D
3rdly, exam dabes beb~ but it seems that things are mounting now that the exam is over. there's Halaqatul Bahth (research paper) for Musthalah Hadith to be submitted by end of March. there's dars Sohih Bukhari to be attended every day till the kitab is complete (this dars is a WOW. maasyaAllah. worth more than the thousand steps i take every day to n fro the jami' from the my kuliyyah. ) n not forgetting having to revise my kuliyyah subjects...
loads to do, but alhamdulillah, i believe my time is occupied meaningfully.
nak 'ilmu, kene mujahadah. kene berkorban kan Khadijah? :)
to top it all off, i still have time to read this novel: Di Atas Sejadah Cinta by the same author who wrote the bestseller: Ayat-Ayat Cinta (Nad! i forgot to tell u that i've completed Ayat2 Cinta months ago. hee. best. but i still wished Pakcik Nurul had voiced out the matter to Fahri earlier. apesal lah dia lembab. kan kesian Nurul.. :( )
btw, exams were fine. managed to complete all the 14 papers. except for Hadith. i accidentally skipped a hadith out of the 13 hadiths that were to be tested. n that very hadith came out. apelah nasib~ but insyaAllah the 1st question will save me. just that i don't think i can score that paper. takpe Khadijah. final year nnt balas dendam k!
i had Fiqh on my birthday. my very favourite subject. suker! i love the subject, n love the Anisah (Ustazah) that teaches that subject. so it was kind of a birthday present for me. :)
the weather now is windy- nah. Super windy i must say. there was once when i felt that i've to stop walking. kalau tak gerenti dah terbang~ few weeks back it snowed right in front of our house (!!!) the last time it snowed in Damascus was ard 4 years ago. maasyaAllah. indescribable beauty. bila rajin, i'll post the pics k? ;)
another unique thing happened: few weeks back, Mawi came to Syria. n we Singaporean sisters were offered to attend a dinner-cum-concert at a restaurant. hee... so off i went with the other sisters. nampak Mawi depan mata beb. before that there were some performances by a popular Syrian artist. lagu tak merepek2, alhamdulillah. ok i'll give credits when they're due: it was a memorable event, although i'm not a fan of him. plus: ada kentang goreng! (hee. tak penting~) .
ok dah. kuliyyah gonna start in less than an hour. assalamu'alaikum semua :)
p.s. as usual, Happy (advance/belated) Birthday to all February babies! tried to wish u guys personally. in case i missed out / didn't get the chance to, 'afwan ye. tak terluah, tapi insyaAllah tersemat di hati~ ;)
