at least not yet.
huhu.
Alhamdulillah for the opportunity to attend Abu Productive's talk on Itqan - The Forgotten Sunnah at Max Atria yesterday.
So many tips and motivations shared.
It takes a lot of will power, effort n du'a to stay istiqamah in the things I hope to apply in life.
- Pomodoro Technique. Tried out just now for ODOJ. The mind still wandered at times (>.<) and I had to fight and push myself to stay focused... What with the ruckus in the house (the 3 little heroes & 2 nieces were here :)). Suddenly 25 minutes seemed to pass so quickly! *guLp*
Will still give it a try at work, especially during markings. Thought of setting my Pomodoros to 20 minutes each, insyaAllah.
- disconnect from internet (best: to put the phone to airplane mode) at least 1-hour before AND after sleep. Besides protecting our eyes from the blue light which definitely will decrease the quality (if not quantity as well) of our sleep, it also protects us emotionally. That is, from getting excited by sad/happy/ridiculous/anger-inducing things we read on the screen.
- reaping as much barakah as possible in the morning, motivated by Rasulullahﷺ 's do'a for us :')
This proves challenging during the weekends :(( gotta strive harder, Khadijah!!!
- de-clutter, exercise (so that the brain creates more new neurons), Power Naps (tapi masa kerja susah sikit la. is it against amanah? :S), no dinner after 8pm, make sincere intentions and give our best. Even in seemingly 'small' deeds (hey, in fact, no deed is a small deed :'))
"Who cares?" - "Allah Cares!"
