The historical remains made Basra one of the most stunning places I’ve ever been to in Syria. Suker~
The building on the left is the place where Paderi Buhaira’ met Rasulullah ‘alaihis solatu wassalam when Rasulullah traveled to Syam at the age of 12. The one on the right is pokok kurma yang sedang berbuah~
yang pat bawah tu: kepala2 org :D (haha. Tak penting eh~)

This is the Black Hill situated near Suweida’. Made of little black pebbles that don’t leave any mark on u even when u rubbed them on ur shirt. We had fun “diving” into them in order to climb up the hill for a nice snapshot. Biler lagi nak bertenggek pat batu2 hitam tu kan? Hee. Nasib baju n kasut tak koyak -_-“
Buhaira Thafas. Reached there around 30 mins before Maghrib, and was memsmerised by the magnificent view of the setting sun, seemingly surrounded by this lake, which in turn is surrounded by wild, thorny purple flowers. Subhanallah! (dlm hati kata: nasib bunga2 cantik ni berduri, kalau tak, mesti jadi mangsa “petikan” tangan2 some of the girls. Huhu. stress tengok orang petik2 bunga! Kesian bunga tu nak hidup kan~)

.... away from the lake, and off we went to our final pit stop: maqam Imam an-Nawawi (i've posted a picture of the maqam in one of my previous entries :))

anw, heard that there's a school perched on top of the hill! haven't got the chance to check it out though. hmm~
My FAVOURITE pit stop: Wadi Yarmuk (Valley of Yarmuk). Situated between Syria and Jordan, here was where the Battle of Yarmuk took place in the year 15 Hijrah (636 Masehi) between 24,000 Muslim warriors and 200,000-500,000 Romans. The Muslims led by Sayyidina Khalid bin al-Walid radhiyallahu ‘anh triumphed over the Romans despite the HUGE difference in their amount. Takbir! :D
