Khas Buat Emak III
"When u look at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know."
-Mitch Albom in One More Day-

Tak sabar rasanya nak tatap wajah Mak... nak kucup tangan Mak... =)

Mak, kelmarin adik & kak Latifah bilang, perangai Syaakirah tu (my 3 yr old niece) betul2 macam orang. cara dia berbual, cara dia tidur... fuh. mesti luarbiasa kecomelannya kan Mak? (hehe)
sebut pasal "luarbiasa" ni kan Mak, teman2 serumah orang ni luarbiasa kekecohannya.
ya Rabb! kadang2 pening, bingit pun ada. tapi kadang2 tu menghiburkan jugaklah.

hari tu orang balik rumah, nampak kat whiteboard rumah:

HOT TOPIC!

"Petom* jatuh macam Superman di passageway. Dan saya hanya menyelamatkan hotdog dia saje."

Saksi Utama: "Masa saya bukak pintu rumah tiba-tiba nampak kelibat hitam terbang lalu terbaring!"

*bukan nama sebenar

lol. kelakar kan budak2 ni? adaaaaaa je idea dorang. time orang tgh mood "tebiat" sikit (Fathanah cakap org time exam makin "happening". heh) org adalah jugak join dorang. sayangggg sangat kat dorang semua Mak. mmg kadang2 tu adalah geram sikit, tapi tetap sayang.

Khadijah Mohamed Hussain

Ya Ahla Gaza, nehna ma'akum!
7 Muharram 1430H

life's back to normal. that is, after the 8-day camp-like experience at Jami' Hasan for the Ijazai Jami' at-Tirmidzi. reached home around 9pm+, had dinner, etc. sleep. wake up, prepare for Subuh,
and off we go to wait for a service a.k.a. "micro" to take us to the jami'.

the "micro", btw, is a very common mode of transportation in Syria. it's a 10-15 seater van. no matter how far is your journey, all u've to pay is 10 lira (around S$0.40). it used to be 5 lira when i came here, but like other prices, the micro charge has also increased.

normally, syeikh will start reciting the hadith at 7am, after the Qur'anic recitation by qari with qiraat 7 or 10. (ntah bila gue dapat belajar qiraat eh. huhu.. Qur'an pun blum habis hafal eh Khadijah, nak belajar qiraat lagi~ takpe, one at a time, biidznillah =))

uh. when i say life's back to normal, that means: Halaqah al-bahth (tinggal melambak lagi. 2 weeks to dateline!), revising 14 subjects (that's 17 subjects minus Tafsir (kan dah ada bahth). Qur'an (Anisah dah tebuk last week), and English. mid-yr exam coming up in early Feb!

1430 H has arrived. ya Allah, cepatnye masa berlalu~ new year, new resolutions? hmm... not really for me, but insyaAllah a more dynamic Mujahidah insyaAllah k Khadijah? kuatkan semangat! (mcm pernah dengar je dialogue tu, tapi takpelah). live every moment of your life to the max! like what the assistant Mudirah of Da'wah shared with us last 2 weeks when a lecturer was absent:
our time = our life. n one of the first things to be asked in the hereafter is how we spent our life.

"if our grandmothers watch the TV for 2 hours, it's ok. but is it proper for all of u, tullabul 'ilm (seekers of knowledge) to spend 120 minutes in front of a TV/laptop/computer screen?! then, we're not tullabul 'ilm. we're tullabud dunya (seekers of the dunya)."

na'udzubillah! seram kan dengar...

the assistant Mudirah is Anisah Wafa'. we love her sooo much. lembut je. dia tegur org pun lembut je... bilhikmah. n always reminding us to remember Allah and recite the selawat for our Prophet Muhammah S.a.w. there was once when something sad happened, n she hugged me. adoi~ habislah makin laju air mata ni tumpah.

heard about the Gaza tragedy at jami' Hasan last Saturday. since then, after every solat, we all increase our du'a for our Muslim brothers n sisters in Palestine. we also performed solat jenazah ghaib for the syuhada' at jami' Hasan.

and yesterday during the Friday sermon, Syeikh Nabulsi was in tears when he recited the verse 169 of surah Aal-Imran:

Think not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead.
nay, they are alive, with their Lord,
and they have provision.

and Syeikh repeatedly recite the verse 139 of the same surah:

so do not become weak (against your enemy), nor be sad,
and you will be superior (in victory) if you are indeed (true) believers.

syeikh also pointed out that Muslim nations are contributing millions of dollars to those who have caused the death of our Muslim brothers n sisters. e.g. thru food! u know, the "M" n "K" fast food restaurants...

why must we, when there are loads other alternatives??? fuh. part ni, terasa siket. pasal time kte kat S'pore dulu kte suka mkn hot fudge. suke sgt2. dah berzaman tk mkn benda2 ni semua. tapi takpe, Demi Allah, akan ku tinggalkan benda2 ni semua.
siapa yang tinggalkan sesuatu utk Allah, Allah akan gantikannya dgn yg lebih baik. LEBIH baik tau Khadijah~ have faith in HIM! :)

to the people of Gaza:

Tsiquu binasrillah. Nahnu Ma'akum!
