returned safely last night from Malang.
Alhamdulillah, an interesting trip, although i felt that it was more of a holiday trip than a study trip. hmm...
I miss experiencing the moments being a real tolibul 'ilm (insyaAllah)...
I just don't see how a very comfortable way of living, with chartered transportation to and fro the university, including some tours around the city (plus shopping) fit into the picture.
Nevertheless, at the same time, I have to understand and acknowledge others' preferences and comfort. also the fact that I'm the youngest one in the group (thus explains my perhaps "tak kisah je kalau backpacking/"adventure" sikit..." attitude and extra energy to walk and be active for hours...).
some brought along their family members as well. surely, they were looking forward to spend some quality family time together. so... yeah (':
am earnestly hoping for a more fruitful experience later in June insyaAllah. (not that we want to go there for a second time given a choice -especially at the thought of having to fork out at least another $550++.... hmmm).
today is my first ever day off from work ever since I started working at Aljunied last year. Initially took the day off to rest and do my MA assignment, but was down with a minor flu. alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal (:
gotta continue with the assignment on Fenomena Linguistik di Singapura. determined to finish at least 80% of it by tonite, biidnzillah!
good news: I've switched off my phone! ^-^
