5 Sya'ban 1435H
A family plan was cancelled and i just got to know abt it! been waiting for it since morning, postponed other maw'ids (appointments) because of it...
geram.
but why Khadijah??
kan ada ayat:
"قل لن يصيبَنا إلا ما كتب اللهُ لنا"
it took a great effort to keep reminding myself of this, n managing my 'angin'.
perhaps u have to focus more on your spirituality ya Khadijah.
focus more on khusyu' fis solah, on sawm (before 15 Sya'ban), on spending more time with HIM. Jalla wa 'Alaa..
then Allah will Help you manage your nafs more, making it easier to manage insyaAllah!
prepare. train. discipline.
patience. calm. shhh!

Attended daurah on manhaj salaf fi at-ta'amul ma'a qadhaya al-khilaf @Pergas last weekend, with Syeikh Saif al-Asri the Mufti at Dar al-Ifta, UAE. maasyaAllah... he was so calm in his delivery, despite the quite heavy topic.
then headed downstairs and was enticed by the Islamic Book Fair! although it wasn't big, but I was still happy! ^^
and when i managed to buy 2 wonderful books (insyaAllah) and 2 badges, I was even more elated! hehe.

Meanwhile, Habib Kazhim is coming to Sg real soon, biidznillah. This time, there are plentiful of durus! about 9-10 sessions at about 7 different locations all over Sg, including Masjid Darul Makmur! ^^
it's such heartwarming to have a jilsah so near your place (':
(which also comes with additional responsibility: meaning that if i don't attend it without any strong excuse, shame on me! ):
I also just subscribed to Syeikh Musa Furber's FB page after reading a mini review by ukht Hafizah Watib @whatsapp. his posts are deeeep, subhanallah! (n involves a lot of critical thinking. hmmmm)
Syeikh Ali Jum'ah is also coming down, biidznillah -just that the topics they gave to Syeikh are those related to inter-religious issues and the likes of it. tak febret beb~

Ultimately Khadijah,
it's not really about how much lessons u attended, or how many syeikhs u met..
Rather, it's how much of those 'ilm that u manage to apply. amal. internalise. n most importantly, better yourself.
Allaaaah... :((

Biggg one...
P.S. these books are meant to be shared with friends, sis-in-law, nieces-nephews, little tutees... rather than for myself. at least for now (':
