What Telah Happen?
Came across this chart while flipping through a chapter on “How To Manage Your Time” from the book entitled: Training Guide for Islamic Workers by Hisham At Talib.

This chart shows what you might be doing with your time in a life of average length:

Activity & Time:

Tying one’s shoes >8 days

Waiting for traffic lights to change >1 month

Time spent at the barber shop >1 month

Dialing the telephone >1 month

Riding elevators (in big cities) >3 months

Brushing one’s teeth >3 months

Waiting for the bus >5 months

Time spent in the shower or bath >6 months

Reading books >2 years

Eating >4 years

Earning a living >9 years

Watching television >10 years

Sleeping >20 years

mcm… O.o” gitu kan? Esp. part waiting for the bus tu. Fuh. Ingat dulu time zaman sekolah, sampai meleleh-leleh air mata tunggu bus tak datang2… pasal takut lambat sampai skolah, nanti kene denda (lagi!). ish. Masa tu, dlm hati, berazam nak marah/cekik/tarik rambut driver bus tu bila nampak muka dia nanti…but of course those drama scenes never took place laa. I’m too nice for that sort of things :p

I recall reading a dialogue in a novel:
“Org perempuan ni, cakap je lebih. Tapi nanti tak sampai hati…” hoho. betol betol betoL!

Anw, the author continues:

So the way the whole thing adds up –if you are going to have the time to do some of the things you want to do, you are just going to have to plan it and program it into your busy schedule. If you wait for the right time to present itself, you might wait forever.
