During the last tazkiyah an-nafs session for acad year ’09-’10 with the Dean of Kuliyyah Da’wah, Syeikh Bassam –hafizahullah- shared with us:
At the start of each day, tell yourself:
"مهما حدثت, سأبقى مسرورة"
(whatever happens, I will remain happy )
And then see how this would change the way you react to the incidences u face throughout the day, insyaAllah :)

Syeikh an-Nabulsi –hafizahullah- in his nightly dars (via al-Quds radio station, 105.4 FM for those in Syria) on Tafsir, said:
“behind every single thing that befalls you
-no matter how painful it is-
there surely lies many hikmah and ni’mah that Allah azza wa jalla Wants to Bless you with.” ^-^
Let’s try to be optimistic and pleased with whatever we face in this temporary life.
so, are we among the radhiyun (orang-orang yang redha dengan segala apa yang mereka hadapi dalam hidup ini)? Let's check the atrributes of a radhi as shared by my Anisah Fatinah:
1. If Allah gives, he’s thankful
2. If Allah doesn’t give, he still remains thankful
3. If Allah grant his wishes, he’s grateful and continue to thank Allah…
4. If Allah doesn’t grant his wishes, he remains patient while continuing to worship and be obedient to Allah, and doesn’t give up nor abandon all the ‘ibadah and ‘amal that he has been doing all these while.
