just finished teaching my nephew n niece iqra'. adoi~ telatah budak2 ni kadang2 betul2 mencuit hati. if u know me, u'll know that i'm very particular about pronunciation of the Arabic words. yelah, one day insyaAllah they'll "be promoted" to the al-Qur'an kan, n even a slight error in pronunciation can have a different meaning altogether. astaghfirullah..
anw, i taught her, as i was taught by Liyana (syukran sis! =D), that u have to tilt ur tongue a bit to the right, pushing against the back of ur front teeth (tunggu ape lagi? cepat lah practise! =P) when pronouncing the harf "dhad". kesian my Nasuha. sampai senget2 mulut dia in an effort to pronounce the harf. hee~ on top of that, i also got to know last year that the correct pronunciation of the harf "dal" is NOT "da". lidah tu kene tekan kat lelangit. yep. that's right! =D

btw, to my dear Huda: awaaaaak!!! kte dah jumpe cincin kte yang hilang tu ^-^ (u might want to refer to my past entry entitled Chin-Chin. heh) oklah, actually 1st sister found it. at her place. patotlah selama ni gue cari pat rumah tu macam nak rak tak jumpa2 jugak. mati2 gue ingatkan dah ter-masuk dlm tong sampah n terbuang. to myself: well done for succeeding in not thinking too much abt it. we're not supposed to be too worried abt the dunya Khadijah, remember? kene practise. teruskan mujahadah... :)
on a more solemn note: just got to know from youngest sis what mom told her abt my intention to pursue my studies overses in Ukhrawi. sister was saying that me gonna despair mom n let her hopes down. "ntah mak masih hidup ke tak untuk lihat kakak bila dia habis belajar (4 thn) nanti..." tsk2. mak ni takmu lah cakap macam tu. mak suka tau pendam benda2 mcm ni semua. depan org mak tak nak cakap, mak tak nak luahkan kesedihan. everything seems ok. coz i know mom doesn't want me to worry...
Please Guide me O Allah...
