It's the last of the 4-days SG50 holiday. Spent most of the time (at home mostly) with family, alhamdulillah.

Yesterday, we were saddened by the news of the passing of yet another great scholar of Syam: as-Syeikh al-Faqih al-Usuli Wahbah az-Zuhaily rahimahullah.

A Syeikh who have produced more than 100 writings on various topics, especially in Fiqh.

Recalled those times in Syria where we 'stalked' Syeikh after 'Eid prayers at Jami' Uthman @Jami' Kuwaiti... And requested for a group picture together. And before that, the unplanned encounter at the Book Fair, where Syeikh autographed at his book which I bought, and when the person beside Syeikh stood up and directed me to sit beside Syeikh for a picture together, just the two of us :')

The Tafsir al-Wajiiz durus (despite not able to frequently attend them, sadly) at Jami' Kuwaiti...

The calmness (sakiinah) felt just looking at Syeikh.. 

Just 20 days ago, it was Syeikhul Qurra' Syukri al-Luhafi rahimahullah.

And Now Syeikh Wahbah..

They're leaving us.

One after the other...

Yaa Rabb! Grant us the determination and Taufiq to follow their wonderful footsteps...
