hamdanlillah...
just got back from Jami' Iman. was a bit late, by the time Huda n myself reached the jami', Syeikh has already started on the Syama'il Muhammadiyah. but then again, i was reminded of what Syeikh shared with us few weeks back:even when we know we're going to be late for the jami', JUST GO! if we reach there only to find ppl already on their way home, then hopefully the next time we'd be more determined to wake up earlier so as not to be late again n miss all the goodness... never break the chain of going to the jami'. coz once we "pause", most likely we'll "pause" forever. huhu... btul sgt2. m.a.l.a.s pun dtg. lagi2 kes jami' yg jauh sikit mcm Jami' Iman. Jihad beb~
anw, today, we covered some hadiths on solat dhuha. some 'ulama said that the afdhal (best) no. of rakaat is 8. but others say it's 4 rakaat, based on a hadith Qudsi, in which Allah promised to suffice us in the Akhirah for performing 4 rakaats of dhuha.
hearing all these, including Rasulullah sallallhu 'alaihis salaam's 3 advices to Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu 'anhu ( fast 3 days of every month, perform Dhuha, n perform witr before sleep) makes me MORE determined to istiqamah with my dhuha. kdg2, bila hari duty masak, habis masak je dah kul 11 lebih. (Zuhur musim sejuk dlm pukul 11:20 pg), dah terlepas waktu Dhuha :( gotta put MORE effort Khadijah. jangan nak bagi alasannn!
then, today, one of Syeikh Na'iim's ustaz was present, n he was invited to give a short tadzkirah. maasyaAllah! it was superb!! his language was simply fantastic. ada tolaaqah.^-^ he was remiding us that performing dhuha (or any other solat for that matter) alone is NOT enough to secure us Allah's Pleasure n HIS Rewards. we still have to 'amr ma'ruf nahi munkar, keep ourselves n the place clean n beautiful, tak menyusahkan org lain, etc.
Then there were 2 couples getting married today, like the past Fridays. pengantin lelaki dia (pakai siket punye simple~) lafazkan 'aqad depan wali pengantin perempuan + jamaa'ah semua. (the bride was in the women's musolla) Then we all made du'a for them. :)
simple je tapi insyaAllah barakah kan? ^-^
nanti bila org nikah, agak2 boleh tak kat Singapore nak buat 'aqad lepas solat Jumaat eh? hehe. biar the groom lafazkan kat depan beratus2/beribu2 org tu... n the bride pat tempat khas exclusive utk Muslimah je :D
