My First
In the name of Allah. The Most Gracious. The Most Merciful.

uhayyikum bitahiyyatil Islam, Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullah wabarakaatuh..

yep. it's me. as in ME, Khadijah binte Mohamed Hussain~ ;)

why i decide to blog? now that's a pretty long story. but to make it short, let's just put it that i've been surfing the internet...n i've came across many interesting websites containing beneficial articles, good food for the brains uh. some of which i read intently, n some i shared with my friends by e-mailing 'em. but i too understand that it could be pretty 'flooding' to keep e-mailing people. u know what i mean right dear?

but knowledge, 'ilm is meant to be shared. n for that, an alternative medium (which is getting very popular n as a friend put it: people r spending more time in the cyberspace. so it'll be good to tap on this resource.) would be: the B.L.O.G.

it's up to the visitors to my blog whether or not they want to read what i posted (which, with Allah's will, will only be meaningful entries, those that HE redha, those that are beneficial and can act as reminders not only for others, but also for myself, diri yang serba dha'if dan kekurangan ini. O Allah. please grant me the strength, the 'uluuman naafi'atan, wa dzakaa'an 'aaliyan, wa qalban safiyan. wa nasran 'aziman... wa iimaanan soheehan. amin!).

as for the blog address, it's in tribute to my lovely, dearest niece, Safiyya. *saaayang Safiy* so cute. pure, simple, innocent. yep. that's basically what the name means: pure, serene, undisturbed... i loike~ in line with what i'm hoping to attain: a pure heart, clean n clear from all the black dots from any possible hatred, insincerity, pride, prejudice, etc. yg mungkin ader tersirat atau pernah terbit di hati ini... wal 'iyadzubillaahi min dzalik.

"khad", besides just being part of my name, represents the "heart" :)

O Allah. please keep me away from having all those nasty n negative feelings in this heart which is in YOUR hands O Allah. YOUR Power. not mine... for i'm only a mere servant of YOURs... who at times may fall into the traps of Syaitan unconsciously... Please help and guide me O Allah. For there is no one else for me to turn to besides YOU, the AlMighty ALLAH...
